Montana becomes the fourth state to recognize information literacy as critical to the overall economic and social welfare of  its citizens in the 21st century.

Kudos to the Montana proclamation team for securing this very important policy statement – Sue Samson, Professor, Humanities Librarian, and Library Instruction Coordinator for Mansfield Library at The University of Montana—Missoula coordinated the initiative.  Her collaborators were Jan Zauha, Montana State University, Bozeman; Timothy Donahue, Montana State University, Bozeman; Brent Roberts, Montana State University, Billings; Ann St. Clair, Montana Tech of the University of Montana, Butte; and Connie Daugherty, Montana Tech of the University of Montana, Butte.

Congratulations, Team Montana!
