Comments Off

Deval L. Patrick, Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

At the behest of the National Forum on Information Literacy, Governor Deval L. Patrick proclaimed  October, 2011 as Massachusetts Information Literacy Month on September 21, 2011.  One of the leading states in the national educational reform movement, Governor Patrick champions the long term social and economic  impact of information literacy skills development on Massachusetts’ citizenry.

The gubernatorial proclamation succinctly articulates the benefits of such training and the need to integrate these invaluable 21st century skills throughout the infrastructures of our educational and workforce development institutions and organizations.
